The security agencies would now be undergoing more stringent regulatory standards. It would be based on focusing towards actual assessment of their competencies instead of simply providing the documentation. It would be pertinent to mention here that security officers would now be tested on how well they could execute major steps of maintaining standard operating procedures or SOPs for different situations. It would be inclusive of bomb threats or dealing with suspicious people.
It would come under the annual Security Agencies Grading Exercise or SAGE. The assessment would be conducted by the police licensing and regulatory department. They would only look at whether the security agency has the requisite PLRD grading.
